The match Al-Ahli vs. Al-Hilal was initially set for next Friday, but the Saudi Pro League Committee stated that it will now take place on Monday, May 6. The choice was taken in order to allow for the rescheduling of Al-Hilal’s AFC Champions League match versus Al Ain, which was canceled because of bad weather.

The match betweenAl-Ahli vs. Al-Hilal is now scheduled to take place at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, 17 days after it was first scheduled.

In addition, Al-Hilal’s schedule includes matches against Al-Fateh on April 26, Al-Ittihad on April 30, Al-Taawoun on May 3, and Al-Hazem on May 9. In the event that they get to the AFC Champions League final, the first leg will take place on May 11 and be followed by matches against Al-Nassr and Al-Tai on May 25.

Al-Ahli has formally objected to the postponement, claiming that it violates the football rules of fair play and transparency and was done unilaterally.

Al-Ahli suggested April 20th as a substitute date, in accordance with league rules requiring teams to have enough time off before and after official tournaments.
